The book is a huge hit with teachers, though I confess that I've only read enough to quickly lose interest. The movie, though, did make me want to complete the book, and here my second confession is that I haven't seen the movie either. As for students, well you can guess which ones are more likely to enjoy the book and which ones don't. Generally, they love it or hate it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15011830.post-1173046745542845572007-03-04T16:19:00.000-06:002007-03-04T16:19:00.000-06:00$93.50! Damn! We saw Night at the Museum a few weeks ago. It was deeply mediocre but not as frustrating as Tarabithia!Elycehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08268192471510411332noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15011830.post-1173046298314161542007-03-04T16:11:00.000-06:002007-03-04T16:11:00.000-06:00We watched Tarabithia last night (me and 6 kids!) ...We watched Tarabithia last night (me and 6 kids!) and were really dissapointed. We all felt ripped-off by the misleading advertisements for the movie. The story was clumsily cliched and there were some moments of dramatically bad acting/directing. I want my $93.50 back.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
